Crocheted scarf
Yarn: sisu (80% new wool, 20% nylon), 50 gram = 160 m
Yarn required:
Black 1099: 2 balls
Grey 1042: 1 ball
Lt.grey 1032: 1 ball
White 1001: 1 ball
Red 4235: 1 ball
Crochet hook: 3 mm
Note: Work all rows from RS.
Work all sts in back of loop only.
Crocheting the first row of hdc (= 2nd row of pattern) might be tight to do.
With black ch400.
Row 1: turn with ch1 (= 1st sc), 1 sc in each ch. Cut yarn leaving approx 15 cm tail.
Row 2 (grey): Beg approx 15 cm from yarn end. Fasten with 1 sl st, ch2 (= 1 hdc), work in back of loop (= the 3rd loop of stitch) and cont with 1 hdc in back loop of every stitch to end of row. Cut yarn leaving approx 15 cm tail.
Repeat row 2 throughout work with colors in this order: *black, lt.grey, black, white, black, red, black, grey*, rep *to* until work meas approx 12 cm. End with 1 row black.
Work 1 row sl st with black.
Braids: Cut yarn ends approx 30 cm in same color as at scarf. Pull yarn half through first/last st = 2 yarn ends. Make braid from 3 strands (= 2 new strands + one at end of scarf) to approx 10 cm long. Tie ends. Repeat this at all other yarn tails of scarf using the same color as tail at scarf. Cut all ends even.
